Felix (Baron Geisler) carries on threatening the gathered residents of Barangay Surga after they uncovered his unsuccessful disguise to infiltrate their community in search of Jalil (Gerald Anderson). By witnessing the distressing incident unfolding from Omar’s (Edgar Mortiz) house, Jalil takes steps to safeguard the residents but was stopped mainly by Jamilah (Barbie Imperial) and Norhana (Malou Crisologo).
As the leader of the community, Omar reassures Jalil and fearlessly steps outside to confront the rampaging Felix, pointing out that the community of Surga had in fact remained peaceful all along, with Felix’s fellow policemen being the ones responsible for the ensuing disorder. Following Omar’s powerful words, his people then united to triumphantly force Felix out.
Back at Omar’s residence, Jalil gets busy packing his belongings, worried that his mere existence will endanger the lives of the people. Jamilah and Norhana make efforts to halt his preparations once more until Omar convinces them to finally allow Jalil the time and space that he desperately requires.
As Jalil walks out of the community, the residents give him supplies that he could rely on to survive and to execute his next plans in saving Datu Rahman (Jaime Fabregas). From medicines, Halal food, pocket money, and religious necessities, Jalil appreciates their sincere generosity and deep faith in him.
Keep your eyes fixed on Jalil’s one-man quest to bring back Datu Rahman in “Blood vs Duty,” streaming on iWant and airing weeknights at 8 PM on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and Kapamilya Online Live (KOL).
