Following the heated exchanges with the superiors of the National Law Enforcement Agency, Marcus (Richard Gutierrez) reunites with a recuperating Oliver (Geoff Eigenmann), who had recently awakened from a brief state of coma.
Oliver then completely concurs with Marcus’ claim concerning an unidentified individual interfering with their communication while they were on a mission at the island. He further explains that he heard the strange gunshots, which weren’t fired from their side nor the civilians’.
With no one to believe Marcus, Oliver promises to corroborate the truth immediately, not caring about the vulnerability of his condition. He also reassures Marcus that Patrick (Antonio Aquintana) and Russell (Dino Imperial) would be on their side as soon as they regain consciousness and then gives Marcus a reminder to be extra vigilant against anyone who is possibly targeting him.
Within minutes, a series of tragedies take place, since after Patrick passes away from code blue, Russell abruptly follows, with Marcus painfully witnessing their unexpected deaths. Taking a moment to gather his thoughts, Marcus remembers a suspicious nurse that he had previously encountered and swiftly heads into Oliver’s room.
Just before Marcus arrived, the exact same nurse started to suspiciously administer an unknown substance to Oliver’s peripheral IV line, which was likely the cause for Patrick and Russell’s fatalities.
In a flash, Oliver is able to fight back despite his predicament, but in the process, his wounds are reopened. He tragically gets stabbed by the culprit, who was also shooting at Marcus the moment he made an appearance and attempted to aid Oliver.
The culprit escapes, and Oliver grasps for survival in the arms of a shaken Marcus. Before his final breath, Oliver conveys that it was an honor to be working together with Marcus.
