Marcus (Richard Gutierrez) still appears to be haunted by his memories of their tragic mission, flashbacks of the merciless crossfire, the massacre of the civilians, and the suffering of his colleagues Harold (Elmo Magalona), Oliver (Geoff Eigenmann), Patrick (Antonio Aquintana), and Russel (Dino Imperial) filling his mind.
When he firmly questions Datu Rahman (Jaime Fabregas) as to who he works for in the gun-smuggling operations, a steadfast denial is shown.
Persistently, Marcus points out the illegal firearms Datu Rahman’s men used on Task Force Alpha. In response, Datu Rahman simply says that they had no choice but to defend themselves and their people, further explaining that they found the guns by the sea and hid them away from syndicates.
The two argue more strongly on why the weapons weren’t surrendered but were quickly met with silence when Datu Rahman confronts Marcus and the whole Special Investigations Division for arresting and humiliating him. He also raises a question that involves who the real criminal is when Marcus’ team was the one who killed the helpless children, women, sick, and elderly on the island.
Will Marcus take into account Datu Rahman’s furious statements? Find out in “Blood vs Duty,” streaming on iWant and airing weeknights at 8 PM on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and Kapamilya Online Live (KOL).
