Another incredibly awe-inspiring viewing experience is now captivating pumped-up Kapamilyas as “Blood vs Duty” continues to deliver its action-packed, emotionally charged, and culturally relevant story on ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida.
At the outset, the powerhouse cast members effortlessly immersed themselves in their interesting and intriguing characters, culminating in every fascinating and perfectly executed shots from their pictorial.
For the evocative solo shots, Gerald Anderson entered into the cultural shoes of the kind-hearted Jalil Abubakar, softly clothed in Muslim attire as well as a casual appearance. The resulting visuals truly captured his fervor in battling against the forces who carried out injustice among his community.
Soon to sharply clash with Gerald’s character, Richard Gutierrez embodied the stoic and dauntless Marcus Reyes, the head agent of the Special Investigations Division: Task Force Alpha. Richard looked even more fiercely in the distinct styles of his SID office uniform and tactical aesthetic.
Being among the extremely skilled colleagues of Marcus, Bela Padilla as the tough-minded Lara Angeles certainly stunned in her SID office outfit while wielding two guns in a unique tactical manner. She topped off her feature with a playful move to brighten up the intensity.
In anticipation of her novel portrayal as the enlightening Jamilah Abubakar, Barbie Imperial’s sweet visuals are graced with a traditional Muslim attire similar to that of her screen sibling, Gerald.
Baron Geisler also made his return to the coveted primetime screen with his iconic vehemence, this time meticulously translated to the role of the self-assertive Felix Domingo, sporting the same SID and tactical attire reminiscent of his co-officers Marcus and Lara.
The finely crafted duo images also spotlighted the show’s beloved directors Bjoy Balagtas and FM Reyes alongside the strong alliance of Richard and Bela in their officer-like poses, which juxtaposed with the heart-fluttering romance found in Barbie and Richard’s shots.
Barbie’s lovely sibling bond with Gerald was also precisely conveyed, encapsulating how their characters, Jamilah and Jalil, would join forces and defend their people.
A little deeper into the action, the protagonists Gerald and Richard then squared off, gripping collars and brandishing their weapons of choice. Baron and Bela wrapped up the powerful angles, ultimately collaborating with Richard; all three polished their looks with their combat gear and guns, and raged expressions.
Look into the emotional journeys of Richard, Gerald, Bela, Baron and Barbie’s characters in “Blood vs Duty,” now streaming on iWant and airing on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and Kapamilya Online Live (KOL), weeknights at 8 PM.
