For the umpteenth time, musical pair JM Dela Cerna and Marielle Montellano once again delivered a “halimaw performance”—as host Jhong Hilario had put it—by belting out Mariah Carey and Luciano Pavarotti’s version of the classic hit, “Hero,” in Week 12 of “Your Face Sounds Familiar.”
After poking fun at the appearance of JM, the gregarious hosts then initiated a “knock-knock jokes relay,” in which they, celebrity performers Akira Morishita and Marielle Montellano, and juror Ogie Alcasid amused spectators with their jokes related to JMielle’s performance.
Juror Sharon Cuneta initially couldn’t hold her laughter at their transformation, especially whenever JM flashed his “disturbing” smile as Luciano, then went on to comment on how absolutely fabulous their performance was. She once again burst into laughter as guest juror Erik Santos remarked on how “vocally and visually really good” it was, as she even tried to take a picture of him. But as JM came closer to her, she immediately put down her phone and hid her face out of terror, which prompted Erik to offer to take their photo instead.
Ogie, on the other hand, simply congratulated them on another “effortless” performance, to which the “Megastar” was truly hands down.
