Mona (Alma Moreno) tries to help Stella (Kim Chiu) with some advice about her relationship with Vincent (Paulo Avelino) in the March 31 episode of “The Alibi.”
Another footage of Vincent causing a ruckus has gone viral, worrying Mona about losing customers at her bar. Charlie (PJ Endrinal) asks who might be leaking the video, and they all try to figure out who it could be. Anika (Kim Tubiano) and Sugar (Yesh Burce) arrive and mock Stella, “Dedma, hahayaan ko na lang na mamatay sila sa inggit. At kapag nangyari ’yun, ako mismo ang bibili ng kabaong nila.” Stella fires back, but the two further insinuate that Vincent is a murderer.
“Paano ka nakakasigurong sya ang pumatay? Nandun ka ba nung nangyari yung krimen? Hindi mo kilala yung tao.” Stella defends Vincent, stopping them from making such accusations. She reminds them that they know nothing about what Vincent is going through. “Ilagay niyo nga ang sarili niyo sa posisyon niya. Pinagbintangan kayo na pumatay at usigin ng lahat, wala kayong kakampi, ni sarili niyong pamilya pinag-iisipan kayo ng masama. Anong gagawin niyo, ha?” She stops them from making such accusations.
Seeing how Stella was trying to protect Vincent, Mona approaches her. “Mga pokpok tayo, sa tingin mo ba may magmamahal sa atin nang tunay, sa mga tulad natin? Yung hindi tayo bibitawan kapag nagka-aberya?” she asks, trying to comfort Stella and make her think deeply about her connection with Vincent. “Baka kasi ’yun pa ang magpahamak sa’yo.”
