Stella (Kim Chiu) tells Vincent (Paulo Avelino) that constant anger won’t solve his problems in the March 27 episode of “The Alibi.”
While busy with her work, Stella is caught off guard by the sudden shift in her client’s mood, who begins staring at Vincent by the door. Vincent abruptly pulls Stella out of the room, but her customer lashes out at him. Mona (Alma Moreno) shows up before the situation escalates, warning Stella about the chaos Vincent has been causing over the past few days.
Stressed by their situation, Stella snaps at Vincent, “Hindi kasali sa usapan na guguluhin mo ’ko sa trabaho ko, dahil hindi mo naman pag-aari ang buhay ko.” Vincent asks if everyone really thinks he’s the type to cause trouble all the time.
“Ano bang nangyari? Tungkol ba ‘to dun sa video mo?” Stella presses. Vincent insists the clip of him confessing he killed Walter (Sam Milby) was made of deepfake, as someone is trying to frame him. Stella tries to calm him down, reminding him that anger won’t solve his problems. “Matalinong tao ka, Vincent. Masosolusyunan mo lahat ng problema mo kung ikakalma mo yung utak mo,” she says, before asking who might be behind the video that set him up.
Vincent admits he has no idea who is setting him up but vows to find out. “Pag nalaman mo kung sinong totoong pumatay kay Walter, tapos ‘yang problema mo. Pero sa ngayon, habang wala pang ibang suspect, hindi mo talaga malilinis ‘yang pangalan mo,” Stella tells him. Vincent ends their conversation, saying he has to leave. Concerned as Vincent is drunk, Stella takes the car keys from him and drives instead, heading to the place he insists on going.
