1. The Passionate World of Stella
Red is definitely her color. As Stella, under the pseudonym ‘Alegria’, welcomed us into her unexpected life, one could not help but wonder about her. By night, she works as an escort, earning for her family through bookings and the services she provides.
After meeting several times with Vincent (Paulo Avelino), he begins to know her more deeply. As the star of the night, Stella arrives in a sultry ensemble, performing a pole dance to sensual music while Vincent watches intently. His surprise grows when she removes her mask, revealing that it was Stella all along.
2. Stella clashes with Sonia's beliefs
Coming home from work, Stella bumps into Sonia (Lotlot Bustamante), a devoutly religious woman who questions her line of work. “Hindi ka ba nababahala? ‘Yung trabaho mo, masama. Hindi ‘yan pwede sa Itaas eh,” Sonia says. Stella calmly responds, asking how her job could be considered bad when she isn’t committing heinous crimes like stealing or killing. “Sa katunayan, nagbibigay ligaya pa nga po ako,” she adds.
Sonia then asks if Stella isn’t afraid of the consequences in the afterlife. Stella retorts, “’Yung Itaas na ho ‘yung bahala sa akin do’n. ‘Yung kilala ko po kasing Diyos, ‘di po ‘yun judgemental. ‘Di po ‘yun mapanghusga. Mapagpatawad po ‘yun. Malay n’yo magkita pa po tayo sa impyer–” She quickly cuts herself off before Sonia can catch on with what she's about to say, handling the situation calmly.
3. Traffic Disturbance
Looking back, the very first time Vincent and Stella met was on the road. Vincent was on his way to the office, while Stella was off to fulfill her commitment for that day. However, Vincent got into a heated argument with a taxi driver in a road rage, coincidentally, the same taxi Stella was riding.
As Vincent and the driver argue, Stella is forced to hop off the taxi and stop the two from bickering. “Ano ba ‘yan?! Tiktakan nang tiktakan, umaandar ‘yung metro ko ‘di ba? Tara na!”
Stella intervenes, quickly taking off her sunglasses to look at Vincent, checking him out for a moment while the latter meets her eyes.
4. Stella's stand for her family
Following her performance for the night, Stella immediately changes her clothes in the dressing room, then later looks for her makeup, asking her co-workers about it. The other girls answer mockingly, but they unfortunately meet Stella’s fury, leading to an intense confrontation. Mona (Alma Moreno) walks in to stop them, lashing out at Stella.
Mona worries that Stella might act the same way with her customers, but Stella promises she can adjust and be seductive in front of them. Mona informs her that she has assigned Stella’s clients to Anika (Kim Tubiano) and Sugar (Yesh Burce), to which Stella protests. “Ako dehado dito, ‘di ba?” Mona reasons that Stella has unreasonable rates, but Stella reminds her of the risks she takes for her job. “Ano ako, per kilo bentahan? Walang tawad tawad, walang libre libre.” She adds that the money she earns is solely for the future of her family.
5. Stella's sacrifice for her siblings
Katherine (Angelina Cruz) questions Stella about being an escort, obviously against the idea. “Kung hindi sa trabaho ko, wala kayong kinakain ngayon. Wala tayong bahay. Hindi ka na makakapag-aral sa matinong paaralan.” Stella adds that if there were any other decent job available, she would definitely grab that opportunity. “Eh paano ka magkakatrabaho nang maayos kung nakulong ka?” Katherine asks back, hurting Stella’s feelings.
“Inaayos ko naman ‘yung buhay natin, ‘di ba?” Stella replies. Katherine conveys that when Stella went to prison, their siblings had to go separate ways, ashamed of having a sibling who’s an ex-convict. Joseph (Enzo Osorio) arrives, and Stella insists, “Ano bang pake n’yo sa sinasabi ng ibang tao? Sila ba nagpapalamon sa inyo, ha? Lahat ng ginagawa ko para sa inyo. Kahit ilako ko ‘yung katawan ko umaga hanggang gabi, gagawin ko. Para sa inyo. Para mabuhay kayo.” She cries.
