JM Dela Cerna and Marielle Montellano—aka JMielle—formed the “Sidlak Bisdak” duo during the inaugural edition of “Tawag ng Tanghalan Duets” in 2023, where they emerged as grand champions. Since then, they have become regular performers on “ASAP” and “It’s Showtime,” platforms that let them showcase both their singing and hosting talents.

In 2025, they became the first-ever 2-in-1 contenders in the fourth regular season of “Your Face Sounds Familiar,” where they can showcase not only their impressive vocal prowess and versatility as individual artists but also their undeniable chemistry as a duo. They have consistently delivered spectacular performances in every round, establishing themselves as one of the frontrunners in the competition.

Let’s reminisce about the memorable and standout acts of JMielle that never failed to wow us in every round of “Your Face Sounds Familiar.”

Just in the very first round of “YFSF,” they immediately won the hearts of everyone with their awesome transformation into Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion and their flawless rendition of the classic hit “The Prayer.” They got the highest combined score of 33 points—with the jury rewarding them with 18 points and their fellow celebrity performers Alexa Ilacad, Jason Dy, Dia Mate, Jarlo Base, and Pepe Herrera giving them a total of 15 points—making them the first-ever weekly winner of the season.

The “Birit Duo” then received a standing ovation from the jury for their spectacular version of “Shallow” in the second round as “A Star Is Born” lead stars Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. Their seamless performance and captivating dynamic indeed astounded everyone, with the jury giving them a total of 21 points and Pepe contributing 3 more points, which placed them on the second spot.

Fans were left disheartened that their duet of the iconic love song “Hanggang Ngayon” by OPM legends and real-life couple Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid didn’t materialize in the third round, as Marielle had to sit it out due to illness. But the show must go on for JM, who proceeded with the performance all by himself as the OPM Chief and “YFSF” juror, singing “Ikaw Sana.”  Despite going solo, he still managed to earn 21 points from the jury—especially the approval of Ogie himself! —and bring JMielle to the third spot.

Unfortunately, Marielle still wasn’t able to make it in the fourth round, wherein they were originally set to perform “Islands in the Stream” as Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers. With this, JM had to represent their tandem on his own again and change his piece to “Through the Years,” another famous hit by the legendary late American singer-songwriter. His heartfelt rendition received 12 points from the jury, bringing JMielle to 4th place.

After missing two consecutive rounds, Marielle made a powerful comeback on the “YFSF” stage in the fifth round, as she and JM astonished everyone with their exceptional transformation into Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, stars of the well-loved film “Wicked.” As if imitating their icons’ vocals wasn’t challenging enough—especially for JM who just had his first-ever gender-switch act—JMielle also had to bring Glinda and Elphaba to life onstage as they belted out the iconic movie OST “Defying Gravity.”

JMielle’s impersonation was unbelievably right on the mark, with the jury giving them a standing ovation even when their performance—which commenced the round—wasn’t done yet. Thus, jurors Nyoy Volante, Klarisse de Guzman, Sharon Cuneta, and Ogie Alcasid awarded them the perfect score of 21, along with their fellow celebrity performers Jarlo, Dia, Alexa, Jason, and BGYO Akira Morishita, who bestowed their three points to them. All in all, the pair got a whopping 36 points, making them the weekly winner for the second time.

The “Birit Duo” went on to become father-daughter in the sixth round, wherein they portrayed “King of Philippine Christmas Carols” Jose Mari Chan and his daughter, Liza, who were the voices behind one of the ultimate Filipino Christmas anthems, “Christmas in Our Hearts.” The jury gifted them a total of 18 points for their endearing and poignant performance, which landed them in 2nd place.

The musical pair then went on to showcase totally different facets of them in the seventh round, wherein JM channeled the younger version of pop heartthrob Justin Bieber while Marielle showed off her rapping skills as Nicki Minaj as they recreated the duo’s live performance of “Beauty and A Beat” at the 2012 American Music Awards.

They once again had the jury on their feet in sheer amazement, earning a total of 18 points by the end of all the performances. Dia and Jason each contributed three points, bringing JMielle’s final score to 24—the highest of the round—and securing their third weekly win.

JMielle earned a standing ovation from the jury for their flawless duet of “Ikaw Lamang” as Janno Gibbs and Jaya in the eighth round. Despite delivering a stellar performance that garnered 17 points from the jury, they finished in third place.

JM and Marille stayed in the 3rd spot until the ninth round, wherein they made everyone kilig with their rendition of “Palagi” by real-life couple TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan that also earned 17 points from the jury.

After nine rounds at the top of the rankings, JMielle faced a setback in the 10th, landing at the bottom after transforming into Christina Aguilera and Sabrina Carpenter for their rendition of “What a Girl Wants,” inspired by Christina’s 25th anniversary celebration in 2024. In the performance—where Marielle portrayed Christina and JM took on Sabrina—they earned only 5 points, placing sixth.

As both of them are fond of challenging themselves, JMielle finally did the much-awaited in the 11th round—swapping roles. In their electrifying performance of “Hot Legs,” it was Marielle who took on Rod Stewart, while JM portrayed Tina Turner. They were able to bounce back in this round, as they climbed up again to the 2nd spot after getting the second highest score of 20 points.

And lastly, JMielle earned 17 points for their impersonation of Luciano Pavarotti and Mariah Carey as they performed the classic hit “Hero” in the 12th round, wherein they tied with Jason Dy in the 3rd and 4th spots.

Will they take home the grand winner title in the forthcoming “Your Face Sounds Familiar: The Grand Showdown”?  Let’s find out by not missing their finale performance for the 13th and final round of the program, which will be aired startng April 5, 7:15PM on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, A2Z, Kapamilya Online Live (KOL) and iWant.
