The second that Edward (Joel Molina) catches up to a weakened Alice (Janella Salvador), he outmaneuvers Alice’s attempts at defending herself and corners her with a knife.
He eerily recounts how Alice’s younger self became his favorite person in the past, and despite growing out of Edward’s twisted preferences, he would maintain his immoral gaze and hug the adult Alice with evil intent.
Soon enough, Edward reveals himself as Althea’s assailant. He reasons that he attempted to silence Althea for good after she discovered the bloodied belongings of his young victims. At first, she managed to flee by feigning ignorance, but Edward sensed her panicked act and attacked her while she was waiting to be fetched by her father.
Back to the present, Edward makes a move to stab Alice to death, but Beth (Charlie Dizon) and Mel (Sue Ramirez) interfere just in time. Erica (Kaila Estrada) follows through, struggling to overpower Edward, until they see a glimpse of a familiar burnt mark on his back.
