In a terrifying turn of events, Alice (Janella Salvador) wakes up in the crashed van and manages to escape Edward’s (Joel Molina) violent attempts at stopping her by leaving her with a stab wound on her leg.As Alice limps to get enough safe distance from Edward, the moment hauntingly resembles the night when Louisa (Mutya Orquia) sustained a head injury and was bleeding while looking for help around Amurao.
While Alice was alone and Erica (Kaila Estrada) and Lucas (JM de Guzman) were running after the fleeing Edong (Jake Cuenca), Beth (Charlie Dizon) contacted Erica and informed her of Alice’s alleged condition at the hospital, assumed to have fainted hours ago.
Beth then encounters Edward’s damaged vehicle, only to find that Alice and Edward had vanished from sight. Unconsciously, the scene reminded Beth of how she, Erica, Alice, and Mel (Sue Ramirez) had searched tirelessly for Louisa on the day she was killed. When she tells Erica the current situation, Erica assures her that she’ll be following along.
Shortly thereafter, Mel calls Beth as she nears the hospital, but Beth quickly details Edward’s abandoned van. The fright increases as Beth stumbles upon puddles of blood, which she decides to follow.
Together, the two acknowledge that this precise moment felt like 14 years ago with Louisa’s case, but Beth attempts to calm down Mel, wanting them to prioritize searching for Alice before all else.
