Olsen (Kyle Echarri) refuses to kill his own father, Homer (Christian Vasquez) in the March 11 episode of “Roja.”
As Wendy (Janice de Belen) hides in an empty van that Leni (Rikki Mae Davao) and Gwen (Lou Yanong) had used earlier to get to the house, Olsen, who was unfortunately shot in the arm, searches for her outside the rest house premises. Hearing Olsen’s screams, Wendy bangs on the car window to get his attention.
Olsen quickly runs to her and finds her hiding in the backseat. He asks Wendy to get in the van so they can escape at once, but before they can move, Homer suddenly appears from behind and takes Wendy hostage, pointing a gun at Olsen.
The latter asks Homer to let go of Wendy and fight him instead, putting his weapon down. “Kung tutuusin, wala kang atraso sa akin. Pero ang nanay mo, meron!” Homer screams, striking Wendy and causing her to lose consciousness. Olsen immediately attacks Homer, and they engage in an intense fight, exchanging punches and blows.
As both grow weak, Olsen grabs a gun and shoots Homer from below, firing two shots. “Sige! Barilin mo ko! Patayin mo ko!” Homer urges, but Olsen does the opposite. “‘Di ko gagawin ’yan. Anak mo nga ’ko, pero hindi tayo magkatulad!” Olsen hits Homer instead, not killing him further. He then guides Wendy to hide as he searches for Liam (Donny Pangilinan) leaving Homer unconscious.
