In the aftermath of the revelations set in motion by Liezel (Mary Joy Apostol) and Angelo (Marlo Mortel), as well as the confrontation between Erica (Kaila Estrada) and Beth (Charlie Dizon), a man in a dark hoodie is seen whistling as he walks toward a quiet place.
The man in question is believed to be the same person Marco (Race Matias) chased but ultimately lost—coinciding with the moment Liezel revealed her and Louisa’s (Mutya Orquia) secrets to Angelo, Erica, Beth, Alice (Janella Salvador), Mel (Sue Ramirez), and Ryan (Yves Flores) after a long pursuit through the forest.
Later that night, Marco and Erica reconvene to discuss their findings. Frustrated, Erica reveals that whoever orchestrated the text messages sent to Beth and Angelo—meant to intensify their conflict—knew enough about Beth's growing suspicions surrounding Angelo and Liezel.
Marco questions Erica’s intuition that this person might also be Louisa’s murderer. Though still unsure, Erica says she is undoubtedly convinced the perpetrator has a twisted mind and is capable of dangerously unpredictable acts.
In the middle of their conversation, a man wearing the same dark clothes seen at the beginning of the episode bumps into Erica and quickly exits the place.
Brushing off the bizarre encounter, Erica stresses that they’re back to square one with the investigation, noting that they indeed do not know much about the truth of Louisa’s death.
Ending the episode is the unmasking of the anonymous man as Edong (Jake Cuenca), still alive despite reports of his death and the suspension of the search for his supposed body.
He whistles bleakly and throws Liezel’s phone into the water, confirming that he was the man Marco chased in the forest—and the one behind the text messages.
