After the 'Soaring Langga' (John Clifford, Krystal Mejes, Miguel Vergara, and Heath Jornales) successfully completed their part in the weekly task, in the January 9 episode of "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0," Kuya announced that aside from the three groups inside the house, there would be two more groups from the outside world who would also help in accomplishing the weekly task. This means the outcome of the task will depend on all five groups, with each one accounting for 20 percent.
For this week’s task, each group must build block towers on both ends of a seesaw. At first, they’re allowed to hold the seesaw while stacking blocks, but once either of the towers reaches the one-foot mark, they must let go and keep the seesaw balanced. To succeed, both towers must reach a height of four feet within the allotted five hours. The housemates on both sides cannot see each other’s towers, but all group members can freely communicate while building.
After the announcement, the current housemates felt a mix of excitement and nerves, thinking the two outside groups might sabotage their weekly task. Meanwhile, inside the confession room, Big Brother welcomed back the first group from the outside world—Kapuso ex-housemates Anton Vinzon, Lee Victor, Waynona Collings, and Marco Masa—who happily shared updates about their lives since exiting Bahay Ni Kuya.
The Kapuso ex-housemates began their attempt at the weekly task. Marco quickly discovered that Waynona and Anton’s side was heavier compared to his and Lee’s. Just like what the "Soaring Langga' did, Marco thought it best that he and Lee start building their tower first until the seesaw’s weight balanced out.
When the first set of towers collapsed, Marco came up with a new plan. He suggested that Waynona and Anton’s side use only five blocks per layer, while he and Lee’s side would use six. The strategy was almost the same as Soaring Langga's, except they weren’t placing the blocks at the same time. In the middle of the build, a misunderstanding occurred about balancing the height since Waynona and Anton’s side reached a taller height ahead of them.
