Sofia Pablo became the 'bunot' (as Gen Zs call it when you're the target of friendly teasing) of Kuya's prank trilogy, as she got pranked about her ultimate celebrity crush, Kapuso actor Miguel Tanfelix, on "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0.”
After the group formation task in a recent episode—which included a memory game featuring the story of a boy named ‘Miggy’—Sofia assumed that Miguel was finally entering Bahay Ni Kuya as a houseguest.
Big Brother played along with her little ‘fantasy,’ but turned out he was secretly plotting a prank with the boys and made her meet “Miguel”—as in, Kapamilya housemate Miguel Vergara. And then for the next prank, she was shown a birthday video greeting from her crush Miguel, which was really kilig, except it wasn’t even her real birthday!
Sofia sure had the best laughs, but she was starting to lose hope that her crush would actually drop by, until the real Miguel finally arrived (January 7 episode). But of course, Big Brother thought of making the big reveal a prank too.
Big Brother teamed up with Kapamilya Miguel to hide Kapuso Miguel from Sofia. Eventually, Kapamilya Miguel asked help from the other housemates. Carmelle Collado pretended she needed Sofia to go with her inside the girls’ bedroom. Later on, the real Miguel came out from behind the curtains in the living room!
Sofia looked like she had seen a ghost as she ran away from her crush, unable to even come close to him or look at him. She even dove straight into a bean bag chair out of sheer embarrassment after realizing that Miguel had seen her totally ‘shookt’ reaction. Fangirling inside the house is really on another level!
And Sofia wasn’t the only ‘bunot’ in the January 7 episode, as Kapamilya Miguel also became the target for his co-housemates' playful antics.
To bond with their visitor, the housemates taught Kapamilya Miguel their dance steps to the “PBB Collab 2.0” theme song, until the group dance turned into a one-on-one showdown! Kapuso Miguel went all out in flexing his smooth dance moves, prompting the housemates to hype up the other Miguel to match that energy. The showdown got extra funny when Kapamilya Miguel added some 'stunts', trying to win the dance-off with just his cuteness and a whole lot of confidence!
