From being a cold-blooded brute who ruthlessly beat Tanggol (Coco Martin) up until he almost perished, as well as heartlessly threatened to murder Ponggay (Maris Racal) and dismember her body parts, Rockyboy (Baron Geisler) once again put on his disguise as the nerdy and naive Bernard, as he faced Tanggol and his group upon their return to the hideout.

Unfortunately for him, his facade no longer worked, as Tanggol revealed that they already knew his true identity—he was the son of the Divina (Rosanna Roces), their former ally who eventually became their enemy. Realizing that he had been exposed, Rockyboy briefly slipped from his pretense by asking what they had done to her, to which Tanggol coldly replied that they had killed her.

His heart apparently sank upon hearing the news, and he suddenly laughed through his tears as he lamented how he long yearned to be reunited with his mom—only for her to be killed by them. Ramon (Christopher de Leon) aimed his gun at him and chimed in that they had been compelled to do so because he manipulated them, prompting Rockyboy to slip back into his Bernard persona and raise his hands in surrender.

Just as they assumed he was about to pull out a gun when he reached into his pocket, Tropang Tanggol was stunned to watch Bernard produce Ponggay’s wallet that contained her police badge. He tossed it toward them, and Enteng (Joji Lorenzo) confirmed that it indeed belonged to their friend.

This prompted Tanggol to threaten Rockyboy that he would definitely kill him once something bad would happen to Ponggay. Instead of begging them not to do so—like what his alter ego would probably do—Rockyboy further provoked Tanggol to shoot him since he was certain that they had finished off his father, too. Thus, as his way of exacting vengeance, he would also take away from Tanggol one of the people dear to him.
