Still weak and recuperating from the injuries and body pain he sustained during his brutal scuffle with Rockyboy (Baron Geisler), a.k.a. Bernard, the night before, Tanggol (Coco Martin) nonetheless managed to muster enough strength he needed to help his group confront their enemies.
As he joined them in the battlefield, he came aboard a backhoe truck and used it to prevent Divina (Rosanna Roces) in her attempt to escape in a van. She was totally shocked to see that the man operating the backhoe was none other than nemesis, whose wrath was evident in his burning eyes as he launched a furious attack.
Divina fired several shots at him but failed, so she just desperately reversed her van to evade the massive bucket. Tanggol missed his initial strikes, but he eventually caught up to her and repeatedly crushed the vehicle, determined to ensure that she could no longer escape—and that she would not survive this time.
Some of their good memories together when they were still friends flashbacked on Tanggol while he was destroying the van, along with the moment he discovered that Divina had betrayed him and his friends, which resulted in a devastating blood bath. Her death became Tanggol’s ultimate act of revenge not only because of her betrayal to their group, but also for the lives that were lost because of her treachery, including the Benito family.
