Just when she was already yearning for rest after her eventful and exhausting first day in service, it seemed that action wasn’t over yet for Ponggay (Maris Racal), as she got embroiled in a brawl with her good-for-nothing neighbors who ganged up on a couple that was just passing through the spot where they were having a drinking session.
Despite being tired and alone, she still managed to knock the enemies down even before her feisty Lola Florie (Perla Bautista) could even whack them with her bolo. Ponggay assured her that she had nothing to worry about since she’s already an adult and a cop. But Lola Florie reminded her that all the more that she must be extra careful since many residents of Purok Marilag consider the police as enemies as they engage in illegal activities.
Ponggay’s father, Mauro (Richard Quan), and his girlfriend, Linda (Aleck Bovick), arrived at their home afterwards and went on to interrogate her about what just happened. A heated debate sparked among them after Lola Florie rebuked Linda for advising Ponggay to ask for payment from the people she saved since money is very important nowadays.
Ponggay managed to stop them, telling them that what matters most is that she was able to help other people and nothing bad happened to her. She eased up the tension by expressing that she was already hungry and asking her grandma to calm down.
