Even though it was hard for him to give his father away to the Red Phoenix group, who was also bent on taking hold of Ramon (Christopher de Leon) as per Roberto’s (Albert Martinez) order, Tanggol (Coco Martin) opted to sacrifice his father in exchange for the freedom of his friend, Oweng (Renz “Baby Giant” Baña), whom Angkong Lucio (Ronnie Lazaro) took as hostage.
As the members of Red Phoenix wheeled the hospital bed where Ramon was lying unconscious to their base, Lucio also set Oweng free. However, just when Oweng was sprinting towards his friends, Lucio suddenly shot him thrice—much to the shock of Tanggol, Enteng (Jojit Lorenzo), Tanos (Big Mak), Dolfo (Ryan Martin), and Bulldog (Mammoth).
This prompted them to fire at the Red Phoenix group, which also served as a signal for the police force led by Rigor (John Estrada) to engage or intervene.
