As she was still reeling from the misfortunes and hardships that their group had gone through due to their unwavering loyalty to Tanggol (Coco Martin), which resulted in the unforeseen demise of their two comrades, Madonna (Kim Domingo) and Raul (Raymond Ronquillo), Divina (Rosanna Roces) couldn’t help but be regretful to meet him.
She conveyed how they used to believe that it was he who would bring luck, success, and wealth to them, only to find out that it was actually he who had put their lives in danger and brought them bad luck.
Divina went on to blame him and his unwise decisions that have taken them to where they are at present, to which Tanggol sincerely apologized. He explained that he only did those for the sake of everyone and of the entire Manila and opened up about his desire to give up sometimes because of how challenging and daunting circumstances could be.
If that would be the end for all of them, he wished that they would forgive him for all his shortcomings and mistakes as their leader.
