As their friends conveyed their worry that Ramon (Christopher de Leon) is serious about his warning that he would kill all of them the next day, as well as the possibility of the Guerreros reclaiming the seat of power in Manila once they win the elections, Enteng (Jojit Lorenzo) advised them not to be pessimists.
Instead of getting anxious, he asked them to just be hopeful that Ramon and Don Julio (Tommy Abuel) would pity them, which is likely to happen if Tanggol (Coco Martin) succeeds in his bid to become the next mayor.
Tanggol remained quiet, recounting the tough journey he had undertaken throughout the campaign period, which included his altercations with Ramon and Don Julio, who rooted for him to become the mayor since they wanted him to protect their businesses.
But despite the pressure and objection that he gets from them, Tanggol remains resolute in holding on to his ultimate goal of serving the people with utmost sincerity, honesty, and integrity, as well as of making their dreams of having a better life come true.
