Just when everyone thought that Don Gustavo (Dante Rivero) is already over with his lustful desires towards his former mistress, Jackie (Angel Aquino), since she has been the wife of his son Roberto (Albert Martinez) for years now, he’s apparently not.
While she was asleep, the Guerrero patriarch discreetly walked into her and Roberto’s bedroom and forced himself onto her. Jackie gathered all her strength to push him away but to no avail, for he was so strong. She then caught Roberto standing outside their room and tried to ask for his help, but instead of coming to her rescue, he turned a blind eye on what his father was doing and walked off.
He and Jackie talked about what just happened afterwards, wherein he told her not to make a big deal out of it in order to maintain the peace and harmony in the family. It was through this conversation that it was confirmed that, even though they share a daughter, their marriage is indeed loveless, as Don Gustavo only married them off for the sake of their family’s reputation.
Roberto also confronted Don Gustavo about what he just did, begging him to stop messing with Jackie and disrespecting the women in their family. Instead of being apologetic, his father gave him snarky responses by reminding him that he’s actually been giving him favor ever since he forced him and Jackie to get hitched in order to keep his true gender a secret from the public, which eventually catapulted him to power.
Furthermore, Don Gustavo told Roberto that what he did was just his way of helping him fulfill the needs of his wife that he cannot provide.
