As the chase continued between the Red Phoenix and the tandem of Santino (Ronwaldo Martin) and Erika (Gillian Vicencio), Edwin (Ping Medina), unfortunately, was able to keep up with them. A nerve-wracking skirmish ensued between Santino and Edwin, as both expressed their hatred against each other.
Erika tried to help Santino by punching Edwin multiple times with all her might and riding at his back to bite his ear, but to no avail, as Edwin only pushed her away. This further enraged Santino, so when he was able to finally pin him down on the ground, he unleashed the boxer in him and beat Edwin up until blood oozed out from his body.
Seeing that Edwin didn’t have energy anymore to fight back, Santino immediately grabbed the former’s gun and pointed it at him. Santino was apparently hesitant at first to shoot him, but since Edwin urged him to pull the trigger, he heeded his command and fatally shot him in the chest thrice. Both he and Erika were totally horrified about what had just transpired and continued to run away.
