At OK Hospital, Mia (Anne Curtis) confronts Elvie (Sharmaine Suarez) upon noticing that the patient has been following her around. But her tone softens when the Elvie suddenly calls her “daughter.” Overcome with emotion, Mia tearfully asks, “Mama, ikaw ba talaga ’yan? Did you come back for me?” Elvie apologizes, saying it has been such a long time since they last saw each other.

Upon noticing Mia’s tears, Elvie’s mood shifts erratically—from anger as she recalls her “daughter” once leaving for an outing with friends, to delight as she fondly mentions calling her on the phone the other day. Caught in the rollercoaster of emotions, Mia loses control and strangles Elvie, but Patrick immediately intervenes, restraining Mia while ensuring Elvie is taken away and given her medication.

Later, Patrick speaks with Nurse Olivia (Maricel Laxa), who explains that Elvie’s depression is likely progressing into psychosis, hence her delusion that Mia is her daughter. Although Elvie’s daughter has already passed away, she continues to believe she is still alive, which is why the facility needs to help her cope with her depression, psychosis, and grief all at once.
