While a lot of Manileños are rooting for him to become the next mayor of Manila, most especially their neighbors in San Dimas, there are still many who do not want Tanggol (Coco Martin) to win. And one of them is Rigor (John Estrada), who rushed to where the prayer rally for his team was being held and scolded them for illegal campaigning.
Rigor admonished Tanggol, Marites (Cherry Pie Picache), and Tindeng (Charo Santos) for coming back to San Dimas after everything that happened in their family, as well as told Tanggol that he would definitely not succeed in his mayoralty bid.
Tindeng clapped back by asking him how it feels now that the person he completely abhors already has multitudes of supporters rallying behind him, to which he retorted by accusing them of vote buying. He then confronted Marites for supporting her son, whom he alleged had a hand in the death of their son David (McCoy de Leon) and went on to call her “walang kuwentang ina”.
As Marites defended Tanggol, Rigor got completely livid and warned everyone about voting for him, saying that he would just lead Manila to destruction, just like what he did to his family. Tanggol refuted Rigor’s malicious claim and told him that as soon as he takes the mayoralty seat, he will fix the entire police force in Manila by relieving all corrupt officers from duty, with Rigor being the first one to have a taste of it.
This enraged Rigor, prompting him to point his gun at Tanggol, much to the shock of everyone around them. As Don Julio (Tommy Abuel) chimed in to come to his grandson’s defense, Rigor blurted out the main reason why he’s in full support of Tanggol: for their illegal drug business to continue operating. The old man disproved his statement and vowed to make sure that he would be removed from service due to slander.
His friend and colleague Mando (Allan Paule) tried to stop Rigor and reminded him that he could possibly be dismissed from service and be incarcerated for conduct unbecoming of a police officer. As Marites pleaded for Rigor to stop, Tanggol suddenly grabbed his adoptive father’s gun and pointed it at his own forehead, courageously motioning him to pull the trigger.
