Just when Olivia (Chanda Romero) thought that she had already lost her, Doña Pilar (Celia Rodriguez) finally regained her consciousness after being comatose. Thus, Olivia couldn’t be any happier as she witnessed her mom open her eyes while watching over her from outside the intensive care unit. She quickly rushed to her bed and caressed and embraced her, to which Doña Pilar tried her best to respond despite the apparatuses attached to her.
Although her vital signs were already stable, Pilar still had to stay in the hospital for the doctors and nurses to be able to monitor her condition and ensure that the wounds she sustained would heal properly.
As soon as the doctor left the room, Olivia suddenly broke down as she told Pilar how she would never forgive herself if something worse had happened to her. But Pilar assured her that, despite her age, she was still indestructible.
The old woman then went on to confess to her daughter that it was Marites who fatally shot her, which certainly infuriated Olivia. She furiously vowed to exact vengeance on her and her loved ones.
