After expressing her strong objection against his candidacy to become the next mayor of the City of Manila, Tindeng (Charo Santos) has finally given her blessing and all-out support for her beloved grandson Tanggol (Coco Martin). It was after she was able to speak with him, through which she was able to see his sincerity and determination to serve the public.
And by watching and listening to their conversation, Alfredo (Juan Rodrigo) was convinced that Tanggol is indeed the best choice to become the next leader of their city and the one who will bring the change that everyone is hoping for. Thus, even though they just survived being abducted and almost killed by the Guerrero matriarch, Doña Pilar (Celia Rodriguez), he’s committed to showing his support for Tanggol by going out to cast his vote and attending Team Tanggol’s prayer rally at San Dimas with Tindeng.
As soon as Tanggol arrived, Tindeng was indeed beaming with pride as he joined their neighbors in chanting “mayor” and happily greeted him as she expressed how proud and glad she had been for him. She also gave Marites a tight embrace, then frowned upon exchanging looks with Don Julio (Tommy Abuel).
