After her emotive conversation with Miguelito (Jake Cuenca) regarding the ongoing election and possible repercussions if Tanggol (Coco Martin) is elected the new mayor of Manila, Jackie (Angel Aquino) immediately approached her husband, Roberto (Albert Martinez), to ask him to make sure that it’s her beloved son who will win in the end.
She reminded him that even though it was already revealed to Miguelito that his real father is actually Don Gustavo (Dante Rivero), the public doesn’t know about it, so her son’s loss may take a toll on Roberto’s reputation and political career. However, Roberto felt that more than his and Miguelito’s reputations, what Jackie was more concerned about was losing her position in their family.
Of course, Jackie tried to refute it, as Roberto took his mom, Doña Pilar (Celia Rodriguez), for example. He reminded her that if their patriarch, Don Gustavo, was able to kick his own wife out of the mansion, what more her, who’s just his mistress?
Roberto even relayed to her a part of his conversation with his dad, in which Don Gustavo declared that it’s Tindeng (Charo Santos) whom he genuinely loves. And since Tanggol is his grandchild through their daughter, Marites (Cherry Pie Picache), his victory is going to be also his victory.
This prompted Jackie to insist more to him on the need for Miguelito to triumph over Tanggol, to which Roberto retorted that he wouldn’t let the Montenegros win via their flagbearer, Tanggol. However, he emphasized to her that he wouldn’t for anyone in their family but for them to be able to keep the honor of the Guerreros as the greatest and most powerful family in Manila.
