Upon hearing Erika (Gillian Vicencio) say that there was a funeral going on at the house across from them, Santino (Ronwaldo Martin) indeed got perturbed and told her that it’s where Edwin (Ping Medina) lived.
While he didn’t have any plans on attending his funeral, knowing that it was him who murdered Edwin, Santino wasn’t able to do anything when his father, Rigor (John Estrada), urged him to personally offer his condolences to the Dimaculangan family, who have been their neighbors for a very long time. Santino was also shocked when he learned from Rigor that he’s also part of the team that will investigate his mysterious death.
Santino couldn’t help but get teary-eyed during his conversation with Marsing (Pen Medina), who grieves the demise of their remaining child and expresses his wrath against Tanggol (Coco Martin), whom he also blames for this incident. As he felt how furious Marsing was, Santino denied that he’s still close with his older brother and told the old man that he’s actually mad he at him as well because of the misfortunes that their family has been going through because of him.
Aside from telling Santino that he already understands why Rigor never loved him, he also advised him to completely forget about Tanggol for him to be spared from the possible punishment that the world would inflict on his eldest brother.
