Knowing that their son, Edwin (Ping Medina), had a long-running beef with his perpetual nemesis, Tanggol (Coco Martin), before he tragically passed away, Marsing (Pen Medina) is certain that the latter has something to do with it.
In his conversation with his wife, Nita (Susan Africa), as they look over their child’s lifeless body inside the casket, Marsing recalls that the two had an altercation during the wake of Noy (Lou Veloso). Edwin took the opportunity that Tanggol was in San Dimas to confront him regarding the death of his sister, Mokang (Lovi Poe), which resulted in a heated altercation between them. As they connect Tanggol to the deaths of both their children, Marsing is keen to make him pay.
Marsing relayed this information to Rigor (John Estrada) and Mando (Allan Paule) when they came at to his son’s funeral, to which Mando commented that Edwin’s death might be related to his job as a drug pusher. Marsing, of course, got offended by Mando’s statement and insisted that Edwin would never get himself involved in illegal activities just to earn a living.
Rigor then chimed in and told Marsing that he understood what he was feeling toward Tanggol, as he and Santino (Ronwaldo Martin) share the same sentiments as him. Before they left, Rigor promised Marsing to help them attain justice for Edwin.
