Every year, it just wouldn’t be an ABS-CBN Christmas Special without a 'kilig' production number starring some of the brightest love teams on TV. What’s the holidays without a sprinkle of romance, anyway? From OG to new gen, watching these pairs share a cozy number onstage is like unwrapping the best Christmas gift.
At the recent "Love, Joy, Hope: ABS-CBN Christmas Special 2025," the season turned extra magical as Kapamilya tandems shared the spotlight and delivered an endearing musical performance.
Leading the lineup were Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino, a.k.a. KimPau, whose on-screen chemistry from their digital series "The Alibi" carried over to the stage as they performed “Ikaw Pa Rin Ang Pipiliin Ko.”
Adding to the magic were new-gen love teams KD Estrada and Alexa Ilacad (KDLex), Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin (FranSeth), and JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith (JMFyang), making the stage shimmer with their lovely chemistry. Who wouldn’t melt at those lingering looks?
"Roja" stars Kyle Echarri and Kai Montinola brought the feels with “Paniwalaan Mo." Real-life couple Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola took a quick break from their parental duties to their unica hija, Isabella Rose, to spread some holiday cheer onstage, while longtime friends and “UnMarry” co-stars Zanjoe Marudo and Angelica Panganiban showed us that Christmas love can also be platonic.
Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, also known as DonBelle, finished the set with their duet of “Ikaw Lang Ang Aking Mahal.” After months of barely seeing them together as they both got busy working on separate projects, this sweet number felt like a reminder to all Bubblies (the DonBelle fandom) that no matter how far they go individually, Donny and Belle will always find their way back to each other.
With their mains giving “missed you, fr” vibes with those smiles and natural sweetness on stage, DonBelle fans will probably be playing this performance on repeat.
Whether real or reel, these pairs made us believe that Christmas is truly the season of love!
