A day before the heartbreaking 3rd eviction night, the “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0" housemates received a fantastic surprise as Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin swung by Bahay ni Kuya to pay them a visit and give them a sumptuous present. This marked FranSeth’s comeback, six years after the first and last time that they visited the house together with two of their other co-stars in the highly successful series, “Kadenang Ginto”.
But before they got to meet the housemates, they had a little catch-up session with Big Brother inside the confession room, in which Seth related that he was able to finish his senior high school last year, his family has been okay, and he’s the same “Hope-pool Son ng Cavite” that Kuya used to know. Francine, on the other hand, confidently claimed that she’s more mature now compared to how she was the first time that they’d met in 2019, and that’s because of the lessons in life that she had learned along the way.
And since they are part of the horror film “Shake, Rattle, & Roll Evil Origins,” which is one of the entries in the upcoming 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival, Big Brother came up with the idea of giving FranSeth a special task, in which they had to surprise the housemates. They carried out their shocking holiday prank inside the task room, wherein one of them had to hide in the biggest box situated there and eventually expose themself at some point, while the other talked with the housemates.
The first one to have an encounter with was the “Interlinked Minds,” comprised of Heath Jornales, Lee Victor, Iñigo Jose, and Fred Moser, who were obviously stunned to catch sight of Francine upon opening the door. She was able to make them stand in front of the stack of gifts, which served as a signal for Seth to come out of the big box—much to the horror of the four lads.
“Palabanghels” and “Astig Divas” were the next groups asked by Big Brother to enter the task room, whom FranSeth was able to successfully prank, as they indeed got shocked and scared when the actress suddenly came out of the big box in a terrifying costume. Last, but definitely not the least, were the “Big Back Dreamers,” who were truly frightened when Seth came out of the box while they were having a conversation with Francine.
Since they succeeded in their special task, FranSeth was able to give the housemates a sumptuous special Christmas salu-salo and continue their chat with them inside the house. The two couldn’t help but reminisce about their most unforgettable "PBB" memories, with Francine recalling how she and her “Kadenang Ginto” co-stars experienced sleeping there after failing to complete the task.
Seth, on the other hand, revisited his experience celebrating Christmas and New Year inside Bahay ni Kuya as one of the teen housemates of "PBB Otso" and confessed that there were actually instances when he was tempted to do a voluntary exit. But he eventually had a change of heart after having the chance to reunite and talk with his beloved mom through a special task.
He then went on to quiz each one of them regarding how they feel now that they’re about to celebrate Christmas away from their families for the first time, as well as their respective wishes, which turned some of them emotional.
One of them is Kapuso star Sofia Pablo, who couldn’t help but be emotional upon realizing that since there’s just the two of them in the family, her mom is going to be alone in celebrating the holidays. Even though she knew how sad it is for them to be away from their loved ones, Francine advised them to just make the most of their stay there since, like what some of them said, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Before his special guests completely exited his house, Big Brother expressed how glad he was to be able to see them and speak with them, especially with Seth, whose career started when he joined PBB. He told him, "Sana nga ay patuloy mong isabuhay at isapuso ang lahat ng mga natutunan mo rito sa loob ng aking bahay. Ang layo ng narating mo.”
