With the division finally over and the boys and girls back together again, the “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” house is finally back to normal—or at least back to the kind of chaotic 'kulitan' we've missed seeing the housemates share.
Before the ‘kulitan’ moments, though, still in the wake of the concerns raised about the girls’ discomfort due to the boys’ behavior and jokes, Big Brother talked to the housemates first. He commended the girls for bravely speaking up and standing their ground, while also making it clear that the house will always serve as their safe space and encouraging them to continue being honest with their thoughts and feelings moving forward.
As for the boys, Kuya reminded them, "Masaya man ang makipagbiro ngunit tulad ng lahat ng kasiyahan, ito din dapat ay may hangganan," as he stressed the importance of setting boundaries, especially for Gen Zs who are learning to stand up for their mental health, which includes recognizing when humor crosses the line. "Dahil dito, ang mga hindi nararapat na biro ay walang lugar sa bahay ko, at isang bagay na kailanman ay hinding-hindi ko pahihintulutan o palalampasin."
"Ang pangyayaring ito ay isang pagkakamali na sa palagay ko ay maaaring maituwid sa pamamagitan ng tamang komunikasyon, paglilinaw at paggabay lalo na sa mga kabataang tulad ninyo na patuloy na natututo tungkol sa respeto o limitasyon," Big Brother added.
All week long, houseguest Shuvee Etrata played a huge role as the mediator between the girls and the boys while they unpacked and confronted sensitive gender-coded issues. When it was time for her to leave Bahay Ni Kuya once again, the housemates knew she deserved nothing less than a special send-off, which is why they prepared performances and shared touching messages to show how truly grateful they were for her presence.
After the housemates shared their messages, Shuvee spoke, "Thank you! Kung sa tingin ninyo napasaya ko kayo, for me, it's the other way around." She went on to express how proud she is of the younger housemates for facing those difficult issues and rising above them with courage and maturity.
Just as Big Brother had changed her life, she wishes the same kind of growth and success for them too. "Mas maging magandang ehemplo kayo ng kabataan," she told them.
As she said goodbye, Shuvee became emotional during her final conversation with Big Brother in the confession room, as she felt she had truly fulfilled her purpose as a guest and as the 'Ate' figure in the house. In turn, Big Brother expressed how proud he is of Shuvee, "Sana sa muling pagbabalik mo sa outside world, bitbitin mo ang tagumpay ng pagbabahagi ng iyong sarili. Lagi mong tatandaan I am very proud of you."
By the end of the episode, viewers got a glimpse of the housemates’ 7th weekly task called “Patong-Patong na Presents.” In this Christmas-themed challenge, the housemates had to dress up as elves and stack 16 gifts under the Christmas tree. Lee Victor and Fred Moser, who are both nominated, were assigned as the weekly task leaders.
But before the task could even begin, the housemates already went full battle mode—dance battle, that is. The festive elf costumes were just too cute to resist, so the girls danced for fun until the dancing turned into a showdown versus the boys.
First up on the dance floor were Lella Ford and Joaquin Arce, followed by Fred and Princess Aliyah. Lee was in a good mood as he got to dance with Carmelle Collado—which felt like a closure as he previously wrote in his letter that he hoped to patch things up with Carmelle following their earlier tension over his offensive joke.
Ashley Sarmiento took the lead and pulled Rave Victoria to the center for a dance, while the girls paired Krystal Mejes with Anton Vinzon. The housemates went wild over Caprice Cayetano and Heath Jornales' showdown, especially with Heath throwing a heart sign at Caprice. As Gen Zs would say, "Tumatapang!"
