The following morning, Rigor (John Estrada) continued to gaslight Marites (Cherry Pie Picache) about how her choice to be with Ramon (Christopher de Leon) rather than with him has absolutely destroyed not just his reputation but also his entire being.
Thus, he would do anything to hinder her reunion with him and their son, Tanggol (Coco Martin), because he would make sure to have them killed before they could even step into their abode. But instead of getting perturbed, Marites reminded him of what her son could do, which unfazed Rigor since he now considers himself powerful.
Little did Rigor know that Ramon and Tanggol were already gearing up for their mission of rescuing Marites in San Dimas, with no tinge of worry or hesitation even though they were about to plunge themselves into great danger.
Don Julio (Tommy Abuel) tried to warn his son about Rigor being more powerful now, but Ramon had already made up his mind to save the love of her life no matter what it would take. Tropang Tanggol reiterated their promise to stick with Tanggol come hell or high water by offering to back them up anew in this fight.
