It’s Halloween week in "PBB Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0" and things have been getting spooky but in a totally PBB-core way. Kuya’s house has turned into both a haunted mansion and a mirror as the housemates come face-to-face with the "multo" in their lives, from past mistakes to heartbreaking memories that still haunt them, as part of their first weekly task.
As featured in the October 28 episode, a scary clown just entered Bahay Ni Kuya, and no one could escape this spooky guest who apparently had a special role in the housemates’ weekly task. But instead of scaring people off, this clown seemed a little too eager to hang out with the Gen Z housemates.
Miguel Vergara and Eliza Borromeo didn't even have time to recover from the jump scares when the clown sat beside them on the couch inside the confession room as they talked to Big Brother, who found their scared reactions hilarious and told them to be friendly toward their visitor. He even made them look straight into the clown's face and take souvenir photos together. So chaotic but cute!
The "clown" then brought Miguel and Eliza into a mysterious room that looked like a haunted cemetery where they had to get their own scrolls—each housemate had one.
When they finally made it back to the house, Eliza's emotions flipped real quick from horror to 'kilig' as she entered the girls' room and got teased about her ‘bonding time’ with Miguel, whom she once had a little spark with.
While the first pair of housemates were scared, Sofia Pablo, Marco Masa, and Waynona Collings were totally chill hanging out with the “clown,” which helped them finish retrieving their scrolls inside the cemetery-themed room.
In the next group, however, Reich Alim was the exact opposite—so scared that she even did a full-on ‘walling’ moment and hid inside the bathroom. Thankfully, her friend Krystal Mejes came to the rescue and stayed by her side the whole time.
As for the last batch—Lella Ford, Caprice Cayetano, John Clifford, and Lee Victor—their athletic side came in handy as they sprinted around dodging the clown. Among the four, Lella was the most frightened and probably the most exhausted from all the screaming. The group even got stuck in the storage room for a bit while hiding.
Even with all the scares, the housemates still managed to complete the first part of their task.
After all the scares with their visitor “clown,” it was time for the housemates to face the real "multos" in their lives. They had to dip their scrolls into a large cauldron to reveal a hidden word related to their "multo" or their emotional baggage.
The boys had earlier talked about how Waynona still seemed guarded, but this moment helped everyone see the pain she carries from her parents’ failed business. According to Waynona, after her parents lost their business, their family struggled financially to the point that she and her sibling had to stop schooling, and there were times when her parents didn’t know if they’d have enough food for the next day. Even now, their family is still recovering from that setback.
That’s why her entry into showbiz came at the perfect time, as it allowed her to start helping her family financially, although she hasn’t gone back to school yet because she chose to prioritize supporting her older brother’s education first. he's proud of her parents for never giving up on rebuilding their family’s life together.
Continuing the sharing session, Heath Jornales talked about his "multo," which was a mistake he made as a kid. He recalled sharpening his pencil in school one day and, out of curiosity, testing its sharpness on his classmate’s arm. That impulsive act led to his suspension. But later, he apologized and was able to make peace with his classmate.
Next, Anton Vinzon opened up about the growing emotional gap in their family. He said everyone’s gotten so busy that they rarely get to eat together anymore, which he considers one of his deepest wounds. "Pa-zigzag-zigzag ang buhay namin. Hindi namin alam kung masaya o malungkot," he said. Still, he's thankful for the positive moments he's had with them.
Marco’s scroll revealed the word “child actor,” taking him back to where it all began. He shared that he entered showbiz as early as three or four years old, starting with commercials before stepping into acting. Like many who spent their childhood in front of cameras, Marco admitted that sometimes he feels like time was stolen from him because he started working too young.
He never had the time to just enjoy simple things, like his dream of going to Boracay or Baguio, and he feels guilty for spending less time with his older brother who has Down syndrome due to his busy work schedule. But if there’s one thing he’s sure of, it’s that everything he does is for his family.
As the housemates' sharing of their “multo” went on, Lella became emotional as she opened up about her dream of studying abroad. She talked about the pressure that comes with being Karla Estrada’s daughter and Daniel Padilla’s sister, both big names in showbiz, plus her sister Magui Ford had already finished her studies abroad.
It makes her question what she really wants for herself, especially when it feels like she’s the only one in the family left behind. Lella admitted that she got too comfortable with the good life, too focused on the easy parts instead of fighting for her own goals. "Masyado akong naging kampante," she told her co-housemates.
But now, she’s ready to change that. She believes there’s still time to create her own path, and being part of “PBB Collab 2.0” is the first step toward achievements she can finally call her own.
Rave Victoria got real and emotional as he shared his "multo." As he mentioned, his parents met in college, and his mother had him while she was still studying, which forced her to stop school for a while. When Rave grew a little older, his father also gave up his studies so he could work and send his mom back to school. She eventually finished her degree and became a nurse.
But when Rave turned seven, his parents separated, leaving him in the care of his grandmother, who became his rock and constant source of love throughout his life. His parents both worked abroad, until he eventually lost all contact with his mother.
He came to understand his mother’s need to follow her dreams and live a better life, yet the little boy in him still longed for her embrace, and that emptiness hurt the most. Eventually, his mother came home, but the reunion didn't last long. She left again and returned three years later without even telling Rave she was coming back and that she had a new partner and a child.
Despite the heartbreak, Rave did everything he could to make sure they would never lose contact again. He recalled the moment when his mother told him over chat that she was getting married to her new partner. Rave smiled as he recalled this part of his story, but the pauses in his voice and the tears in his eyes revealed how deeply it still affected him. He went on to share that three of his maternal relatives flew to Korea for his mother’s wedding, but he was neither told about it nor invited to attend.
"Gusto ko lang makapunta do'n, maging happy para sa kanya, [sabihin na], 'Wow! Ma, na-achieve mo na 'yung buhay na gusto mo. Congratulations!' Pero ang daming questions sa akin na, 'Bakit hindi mo ako sinama?' Hindi naman ako manggugulo. Wala naman akong gagawing masama," he said, finally letting the tears fall down his face.
Even then, Rave didn’t hold any bitterness in his heart. He told his mother he was happy for her, although deep down, he was left wondering if she had ever truly loved him.
Because of his "multo," he promised himself to never repeat the same story. When he becomes a father someday, he will never abandon his children, and that he will be there for them in every stage of their lives.
After his sharing, the housemates gathered around him for a group hug as they comforted one another.
