As his friends brought up the recently concluded elections, which they highly believed were rigged, Tanggol was determined to fight for the truth and to seek justice for the tragic deaths of Oweng (Renz “Baby Giant” Baña), Fatima (Andrea Brillantes), and Paeng (Michael de Mesa).
Thus, he told them that they needed to regain their strength and acquire new weapons for them to be able to rescue his father, Ramon (Christopher de Leon), from the Red Phoenix group. Once they get to cross out that mission, he would then go after everyone who wronged him and the people dear to him in his pursuit of making them pay for all their crimes.
And the first one on his list? None other than their former ally, Divina (Rosanna Roces), who eventually betrayed them for the sake of her emancipation. Next will be Rigor (John Estrada), then Roberto (Albert Martinez) and Miguelito Guerrero (Jake Cuenca).
