While Ponggay’s (Maris Racal) wounds that she sustained from her intense encounter with Fatima (Andrea Brillantes) earlier that day were being treated by her friend-slash-colleague Chona (Via Antonio), Hector suddenly came at their office to supposedly ask her to file their report regarding their bloody battle with the group of Tanggol (Coco Martin).
He couldn’t help but get worried upon seeing Ponggay’s condition, so he volunteered to continue bandaging her wounds, as he expressed his regret for not being by her side to protect her and make sure that she was safe.
Hector then took it as an opportunity to ask Ponggay again if he could be her boyfriend, which she rejected by telling him not to mind helping her next time if he’s expecting something in return. He told her that he was just joking but reminded her to be extra careful next time since aside from that he wouldn’t always be there to save her, he would also continue to pursue her.
In pursuit of showing her that he genuinely cared for her, Hector told her to take a rest already and he would just file the report himself. Before he left, he wished to see her the following day, to which Ponggay responded with a thumbs up.
