As Divina (Rosanna Roces) imparted to them the story of how she ended up being in great trouble, which prompted her to reappear in their lives after a long time of abandoning them, Rockyboy (Baron Geisler) wasn’t able to contain her resentment against her.
He confronted her for going back to them only because her life is in danger, yet she chose to leave them when life was good for her. As he accused her of never giving importance to their family, Divina dismissed it by insisting that she actually thought of them everyday, especially him.
Rockyboy went on to lament about her being a worthless mother who doesn’t deserve to call him her son, to which Divina responded that she completely understood his wrath and indignation against her. However, she’s already desperate and has nobody to help her except for his dad.
Brando (Roi Vinzon) remarked that she indeed made the right decision since he is willing to provide her with the protection that she needs, which Rockyboy highly objected to. Since he couldn’t do anything about it, Rockyboy reminded Divina not to expect him to treat her as a mother nor to forgive her for abandoning him.
Even though Divina explained that the reason why she had to do it was because Brando was such a womanizer back then, Rockyboy still rejected her and told her that he’s already content with the life he shares with his dad. Thus, it would be better for her to leave again because he doesn’t need her anymore.
