“First Day High" is a coming-of-age Star Cinema movie that centers on the lives of brainy Indi (Kim Chiu), MVP MJ2 (Gerald Anderson), sosy Pre (Maja Salvador), rebel Gael (Geoff Eigenmann), and nice guy Nathan (Jason Abalos).
Their paths cross when they become suspects of the basketball water contamination incident in their university. And as they try to discover their rightful place in the status quo, they share both adventures and misadventures that soon lead them to meaningful friendships and self-love.
Released in 2006, the Mario Cornejo-helmed film marks its 20th anniversary on September 20 this year. Also in the cast are Cherry Pie Picache, Michael de Mesa, Gardo Versoza, Arlene Muhlach, Kat Alano, Denise Laurel, Carla Humphries, the late Johnny Delgado, and more!
