Who doesn’t love a good jump scare planted with a complex backstory in a horror movie?
In the 2014 horror-suspense film “Maria Leonora Teresa”, Iza Calzado plays the character Faith, who gets a spine-tingling visit from Eldon (Marco Antonio Masa), the deceased son of a father seeking revenge. Upon seeing the child’s ghost, Faith’s instinctive response was to call for a priest. Her helper, however, urged her to get in touch with a witch doctor instead.
