ABS-CBN's biggest stars were hailed Box Office Heroes by the Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors (SPEEd) at the 8th EDDYS (Entertainment Editors' Choice Awards), for their record-breaking movies and contributions to Philippine cinema.
Kathryn Bernardo and Kapuso star Alden Richards were named Box Office Heroes for "Hello, Love, Again", the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time.
The Unkabogable Vice Ganda also earned the same honor for the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival blockbuster movie “And The Breadwinner Is…”
Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto were also this year’s Box Office Heroes for their tandem’s comeback film “Un/Happy for You”.

The EDDYS is SPEEd’s annual awards ceremony that recognizes outstanding craftsmen, actors, writers, directors, producers, and film workers in the industry.
