We’re getting an even closer look at the Facundo family with the release of the second trailer for “Meet, Greet & Bye”!
Directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, the film stars Piolo Pascual, Joshua Garcia, Belle Mariano, and Juan Karlos as the Facundo siblings, who go through all means to convince their mother, Mama Baby (played by the Diamond Star Maricel Soriano), to continue treatment as her cancer returns.
Unlike the first trailer, which dropped last October 8 during the film’s Grand Family Affair event, this new look takes on a lighter, more playful vibe as it introduces each member of the Facundo family, giving audiences a glimpse into their unique quirks, bonds, and tensions.
Mama Baby, portrayed by Maricel Soriano, is introduced as “ang Ultimate Fangirl Mama.” Ever cheerful despite her illness, her love for Park Seo-joon continues to shine through, adding giddy humor to the story.

Tupe, the eldest, is described as “ang bumabawing balikbayan.” His long absence from home has created distance between him and his siblings. Now, he’s trying to make up for lost time, though his return also stirs up unspoken resentments.

Brad, “ang naiwan pero maaasahan,” serves as the family’s steady anchor. The trailer highlights his reliability in the family business and his close bond with the youngest sibling, Geri. But how does his role as the one who stayed behind weigh on his relationship with his siblings?

Meanwhile, Leo, “ang komedyanteng musikero,” brings levity to the family’s struggles. Striking jokes left and right, Juan Karlos’ character injects laughter into even the heaviest moments, seemingly the necessary comic relief to Mama Baby and the family’s struggles.
One scene even shows Leo urging one of his siblings, “Magbati na kasi kayo, ‘tol,” hinting at the brewing tension among them, and demonstrates how Leo is the peacemaker in the family.

And finally, Geri, “the strong, independent princess,” is the family’s fiery heart. Determined to find a cure for Mama Baby, she refuses to give up hope. As she is willing to fight every battle, if only for a longer time with their mother, can Geri and the rest of the siblings convince Mama Baby to also keep fighting?

As the Facundos’ contrasting personalities collide, one question remains: Are they ready to say goodbye to Mama?
