Maymay Entrata is setting her sights back on music, revealing that she plans to focus on her singing career in the coming months.
In an interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, Maymay shared that for now, her attention will be on upcoming music projects as she continues to grow as an artist.“Sa mga upcoming projects pa talaga, sa ngayon po mag-focus ako ulit sa music. Sa ngayon, yun po muna.”
The multi-talented artist has always been passionate about music. Maymay made waves in 2022 with the release of “Puede Ba”, a sassy and flirty single about two people exchanging passionate glances while dancing, capturing the playful excitement of romance. The track recently resurfaced after being featured in the premiere lipsync of Drag Race Philippines, bringing it back into the spotlight.
In 2023, she also released the hit “Tsada Mahigugma”, an upbeat love song about patiently waiting for the right person. Its title, a Bisaya phrase meaning “It feels great to be in love”, reflects the song’s joyful and hopeful message about romance.
Maymay then released “Amakabogera” in 2024, a song about self-empowerment and embracing individuality in a world driven by beauty standards and trends, which quickly became a hit among Filipino fans.
Maymay dropped her latest single “Masunog Man” last January 2026, where she channels pain to empowerment.
“Sa mga upcoming projects ko naman po, kaka-release ko lang ng song na kung saan ‘yung title po na yun ay ‘Masunog Man’. So, available po siya sa lahat ng platforms worldwide at available na din ‘yung music videos sa ABS-CBN Music,” she expressed.
“Masunog Man” is her latest single under ABS-CBN’s StarPop label.
Maymay has released at least three studio albums throughout her music career. Her discography includes her self-titled debut Maymay (2017), followed by #M0806 (2019), and her latest album, MPOWERED (2021).
Her songs can be streamed on major music streaming platforms worldwide.
