Carmelle Collado is looking forward to new beginnings after her Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 journey ended.
The young singer recently shared that she is gearing up for the release of her new album—something her supporters should definitely look forward to. Describing the project in one playful word, Carmelle called it “mapanakit.”
“Mapanakit siya sa beat kasi talagang mapapasayaw ka kasi upbeat siya kaya mapanakit naman para mabago din naman,” she jokingly shared.
While the word usually hints at heartbreak, Carmelle clarified that the “pain” she’s referring to isn’t about the message of the songs—but about the infectious, danceable beats that will have listeners moving. The album promises an energetic vibe, showcasing a brighter and more dynamic side of the former housemate.
She also shared that the songs “Rainbow” and “With a Smile” remind her of her journey inside the house, reflecting a sense of hope and resilience.
Beyond the excitement of her upcoming release, Carmelle revealed that if she were given the chance to write another album, she hopes to write more songs inspired by her personal experiences—especially her time inside the PBB house. For her, music becomes more meaningful when it comes from a real place.
And in the upcoming Lent season, Carmelle shares how she connects with her spiritual life.
“Psalmist po kase ako sa church namin and I’m Catholic po so everytime na kumakanta po ako ng salmo, nafifeel ko po yung presence Niya doon sa harap ng altar kase doon po akong kumakanta. Yun po talaga yung masasabi kong, ‘Ahh nandiyan nga talaga Siya,’ and then nangingilabot nga ako everytime kumakanta po ako. Umiinit po yung tenga ko pag kumakanta po ako sa harap ng altar.”
She affirmed that there is a connection between her love for music and her spiritual life. She further emphasized how deeply rooted her faith is in her life, saying, “Pag yung faith niyo talaga sobrang lalim, ma feel mo talaga ang presence ni Lord.”
For Carmelle, faith is more than devotion—it is also her form of meditation. Through music and prayer, she finds clarity, strength, and purpose—both on stage and beyond it.
