Their “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” journey may have already come to an end, but ex-housemates Carmelle Collado and Marco Masa looked back on their stay in a lighter note, sharing how the experience taught them valuable lessons they plan to carry and apply in the outside world.
Some of these learnings came from their weekly tasks which, though challenging, imparted meaningful realizations to the two. And beyond that, they also recalled their fondest memories with fellow housemates during this Kapamilya Chat challenge called “All About That Task,” where they were asked questions about their past missions that they had to answer correctly.
Looking back on their experience in “Sayaw ng Filipiniana,” Carmelle and Marco were asked how many tiers they had during their “Sayaw sa Bangko” segment with their partners. Marco immediately raised his hand to answer, followed by Carmelle. The two responded in unison, correctly stating that there were three levels of bangko during the challenge.
When asked about memorable moments from that activity, Marco openly shared that he fell multiple times during the dance. Carmelle added that the bangko they were stepping on sometimes became unsteady, and she recalled how she coordinated well with her partner at the time, John Clifford.
Relating to Carmelle’s story, Marco shared the same sentiment since he and Carmelle both danced on the same level, with his partner Ashley Sarmiento. “Lagi din akong nahuhulog kasi ang nipis lang talaga ng bangko,” he added.
The next question shifted to their “PBB Hotel” task, asking which guest came in after Lella Ford’s sister visited for her birthday. This time, the two struggled to answer, and seconds later, Carmelle attempted to respond with BreKa, Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca’s tandem, which she guessed correctly.

Brent and Mika were the big winners of the first season of “PBB Collab,” and meeting them in person was a fun experience for Carmelle. Marco added that their aura left an impact on the housemates, and their words of wisdom eased the pressure they had been feeling at the time. “It really meant a lot during those times na na-import nila sa amin ‘yun to give us hope and motivation,” he said.
For the last prompt, the question was: which housemate first did a mission for those living on the Ultimate Eye platform during their “sacrifice task”? Marco immediately gave the correct answer, it was Miguel Vergara, who was challenged to fill a glass with water using only a spoon, a task he successfully completed.
After the game, the two were asked to describe their “PBB” journey in one word. Carmelle chose “change,” explaining, “Grabe din talaga ‘yung mga nagbago pagpasok ko doon, kasi nag-adjust po ako. And grabe din ‘yung pinagbago paglabas ko. Especially ‘yung nabuo po naming relationships sa loob, and marami akong natutunan na dalang-dala ko paglabas ko.”
Meanwhile, “growth” was the word Marco used to best depict his “PBB” experience. He shared that during his stay, he learned many things from Kuya, the housemates, the tasks, and even from himself. “May nadi-discover ako sa sarili ko na kaya ko pala. Mas nagiging matatag ako at nagtitiwala ako sa sarili ko. Overall, ang dami kong natutunan in a span of three months at madadala ko siya sa outside world,” he said.
