MANILA -- OPM veteran Rico Blanco entertained the live audience and viewers of "It's Showtime" as he joined a dance challenge to promote his upcoming film "Project Baby" with actress Sue Ramirez.
On Tuesday, Blanco, who was visibly shy, gave in and danced to the tune of Baby Dolls' "Ooh Lala Baby" with Ramirez after they promoted their film.
In the interview, Blanco said he enjoyed shooting the movie with Ramirez.
"Kumakanta pa rin ako, hindi naman iniwan. Pero in-enjoy lalong-lalo na kasama ko si Sue. Sobrang nag-enjoy talaga kami sa paggawa nitong baby namin," he said.
In the film, Ramirez plays Sandy, a "type-A woman with a carefully crafted life plan — one that includes finding the ideal 'baby daddy.'" Blanco plays Migo, the leading man of Sandy.
"Dito, isa akong napaka-empowered na babae tapos gusto ko lang ng anak pero ayaw ko ng asawa. So perfect 'yung nahanap ko si Migo," Ramirez said.
"Ako ang nahanap niya dito. Ako si Migo Andrade isang artist at ang kaisa-isang napapayag ni Sandy para maging daddy ng kanyang baby," Blanco said.
Under Regal Films, "Project Baby" is directed by Eric Quizon and written by Jose Javier Reyes.
The film is showing on June 10 in cinemas nationwide.
