Calling it her “most emotional” role to date, Kapamilya star Belle Mariano said she feels both challenged and excited about her upcoming film “Tayo sa Wakas,” where she once again shares the screen with Donny Pangilinan.
“I feel like this one is more emotional, mas puno ng emosyon. Feeling ko sobrang macha-challenge ako sa role na ‘to. But I’m excited for that challenge,” she said. “Nung pinitch kasi sa 'kin, may jaw-drop moment na ‘What?!’”

She also praised Pangilinan for being supportive all the way even if they worked on different projects, noting that she could see “how dedicated he is with his work.”
“Kitang-kita mo ‘yung puso the way nagtatrabaho siya… And he never fails to surprise me and us actually,” said Mariano.
Directed by Direk Cathy Garcia-Sampana, ‘Tayo sa Wakas’ will be showing in cinemas in May.
Music career
Mariano alsio recently launched her newest album titled, “Like U,’ which includes songs titled ‘Like You’, ‘Pintuan’ and more.
She said the album was initially planned for release last year but instead debuted this year during “love month,” which she considered a “blessing in disguise.”
Asked about the story of ‘Like You,’ she explained, “It’s about your admiration for someone or pwede ring towards yourself na there’s no one like you, you’re unique, you’re beautiful, and wala kang ibang katulad.”
For Mariano, light music is the type of genre she has always wanted to do, noting that she’s still in the process of finding her voice in music.
Meanwhile, she hopes to learn how to compose her own songs. She revealed that she had two compositions before, but is still trying to learn further.
“If there’s one thing I wanna learn, it’s to write talaga songs. Nagsulat na ako before, dalawa. Pero kasi that still something na I’m trying to learn… Hopefully, sana this year, maybe, sana makatapos po ako ng kanta,” Mariano said.
