The Loved One, which premiered on February 11, is now on its second week in cinemas.
Directed by Irene Villamor, the movie tells the story of former lovers Ellie and Eric who meet again ten years later "to trace the memories of a love and sorrow that never went away" as per logline published on smcinema.com.
This film marks Anne and Jericho’s first on-screen pairing since Baler, the 2008 Metro Manila Film Festival entry.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News at the red carpet event of The Loved One on February 10, Anne expressed her excitement about the film. "Sobrang kinakabahan, but I am so ready to just watch it. I want the audience to feel, not see," she said. "I'm very nervous and excited, but yeah, looking forward to going through this journey with all of you guys tonight."

In an interview with PeopleAsia in September 2025, Anne teased that she would be teaming up with Irene for a love story, which would serve as their reunion project after working on Sid and Aya: Not A Love Story in 2018.
When asked how she selects her projects, Anne underscored the importance of the script. "I actually have a very open mind when it comes to accepting projects as long as the script, as soon as I read it and I'm hooked, and that's when I know that this is something I want to pursue," she stated.
