MANILA -- Members of the '80s sexy group Softdrink Beauties recently appeared in an episode of ABS-CBN's "FPJ's Batang Quiapo."
Myra "Mirinda" Manibog, Coca Nicolas, and Sarsi Emmanuelle were introduced as visitors and friends of Enteng's (Jojit Lorenzo) mother.
Aling Myrna, portrayed by Myrna Castillo, was also a sexy star in the '80s.
Apart from Manibog, Nicolas, and Emmanuelle, the character of veteran actor Ernie Garcia was also introduced as the former partner of Aling Myrna.
On its social media pages, CMM Film Productions shared a reel announcing the appearance of the Softdrink Beauties and Garcia.
Formed in the '80s, the Softdrink Beauties also included the late star Pepsi Paloma.
"Batang Quiapo," which recently marked its third anniversary, airs weeknights at 8 p.m. on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, Cinemo, A2Z, and TV5. It's also available on iWantTFC and TFC.
