MANILA -- There was no awkwardness between the Anne Curtis and Jericho Rosales while filming "The Loved One," especially when it comes to intimate scenes.
This is their third project together after "Green Rose" and "Baler," and Rosales took pride in having a good working relationship with Curtis.
“It’s nice to learn that we’ve made a good foundation, in terms of working together, hindi mo talaga alam kung kelan yung panahon na makakasama mo ang isang tao ulit, you will share something special,” he said.
The film’s director Irene Villamor organized a dinner with her lead stars and they discussed the movie, read some lines, and caught up with each other’s personal lives, just to break the ice.
When it comes to intimate scenes, the production has hired an "intimate scenes coordinator" to facilitate some delicate scenes in the film, to which Curtis and Rosales appreciate.
“It’s a very professional way of putting things, especially her job, maraming mga ganun whether TV or, it’s very good for not just ladies, but for everyone, it’s very hard to mount scenes like that,” he said.
“It avoids situations kasi na paano gagawa 'yung lalaki, kung hindi siya sure kung saan siya pwedeng hahawak at least with that, you figure it out before you get into the scene. Alam nyo na kung saan pwede humawak, it makes everything easier,” she added.
The actress candidly uttered, “Nung bata ako walang ganun eh, walang ganun dati,” and Rosales replied back saying, “Attack lang nang attack.”
Their upcoming reunion marks Curtis’ comeback to the big screen after six years, and also a big event for Rosales who is celebrating his third decade in the industry.
“Officially my 30th year, I started '96, it’s a special year for me,” he said.
